Wonderful evening trip on a beautiful yacht to watch the evening Sun .. I would have loved a bit more wind but on the other hand our delicious vinho verde was not lost overboard :) We'll be back next time we're in Lisbon I'm sure ... I'll be hoping for a bit more wind - Obviously this skpper knows what he is doing so I would love to see the boat really flying!

We had a lovely time with Leo and his boat, he made us feel really welcome and we had a great sail along the Tagus. We’d highly recommend this experience.

I can’t recommend Leonardo enough. He knows a great deal about the city and of course, even more about sailing. He answered all of our questions and showed us all of the sights. He even warmed us to bring something warm! The wine and cheese were the perfect touch as we watched the sun set over the water. Can’t recommend him enough.

Such a great experience and definitely the highlight of our Lisbon Trip :) It is so worth it! Leonardo was so kind and friendly, his sailing boat is a dream and the atmosphere and the views are just awesome :)

Leo was an amazing host. We paid for a private charter and would highly recommend to anyone. The instructions , communications prior to the sail were excellent and clear. This experience is for anyone who actually enjoys sailing. I saw lots of similar charters with only a jib up, or not sailing at all which- however Leo is an excellent sailor and even in chargeable conditions we were able to proceed under only sail for a decent stretch. Also a lot of the other charters they seemed to be a little crammed on, with 8-12 people sitting all over a small boat. The boat is super nice (just upgraded and is really modern and slick) and a real treat too. Leo is very personable, friendly and explains a lot of the main sights along the way. Seriously, over the others I saw whilst out on the water - I was really happy we made the right choice to go with Leo. All the best to you and thanks for giving us an amazing experience out on the water in Lisbon

I really enjoyed that this was a real sailing trip and everyone was invited to participate. At the end we enjoyed tapas and wine.

Leonardo’s boat was beautiful and the views of the city were gorgeous. The sailing trip was an amazing way to see the city from the water and Leo was able to point out landmarks and was an excellent tour guide. A few of us steered the boat. The wine and cheese he provided was really tasty and provided a number of restaurant and nightlife recommendations at the end of our trip.

Leonardo gave my girlfriend an incredible private sunset trip with birthday champagne. He was extremely warm and accommodating, giving private time when needed as well as his company. Would highly recommend

We had a great time sailing with Leonardo, the yacht is beautiful and really comfortable! While on the water Leonardo encouraged us to participate and provided interesting information about sailing and Lissabon. Definitely a very enjoyable experience and a great way to see Lissabon from a different perspective!

Amazing sailing tour, so much fun and Leo is an incredible host. You can be as involved with the sailing as you want to be, or just relax on the front of the boat and let Leo take the lead. The sailboat itself is quite nice and super comfortable - and the snacks were delicious!

Our sailing experience was absolutely wonderful. We had some really strong winds that made for some really great sailing. We also had beautiful views and great people on board. I couldn’t have asked for a better night.

Oh Leo, what to say :) I say book it if you are thinking about it! You'll maybe see a cheaper option but don't go for it! Leo uses The wind, feeds you delicious snacks and will offer you the elixir of life aka wine. Treat yourself with a unique experience in Lisboa. See you in Croatia, Leo!

It was a beautiful evening for a sail and Leonardo was determined to give us the best sunset experience possible. We left right on time to ensure we were in the best position possible to enjoy the sunset. Seeing a city from the water always gives you a new perspective and Lisbon from the water is no exception. We were able to take the helm or help set the sails as much as we wished to engage. Leonardo is a great host.

Whenever you get the chance to experience this trip with Leonardo; don’t hesitate and just board into this magical afternoon. It’s really worth it.

This experience was great from the beginning to the end. Leonardo is a great host and his Sail Boat is beautiful and very well maintained. He allowed guest to steer the boat and his instructions were clear. He gave a lot of insight on Lisbon. Just remember to bring a jacket because it gets cold on the river. I definitely would recommend this to everyone.

Book this experience! We were joined by 3 other couples on Leonardo's boat and it was a great way to start our vacation in Lisbon. Leonardo's passion for sailing and his knowledge of his city are clearly evident. Leonardo gave everyone onboarding turns sailing the boat, but he was always in control on the experience. There were even jackets for those who underdressed - don't make this mistake. It gets cold on the water. There were plenty of instructions on where to meet. Thank you Leonardo!

A fantastic trip. Leonardo was an amazing host making us feel safe and comfortable. The trip would have to rate as the highlight of our holiday in Lisbon. Being able to view Lisbon from the water and at sunset was breathtaking.

Leonardo is a great host and was pleasantly interactive. He offered the opportunity to sail his boat under guidance and offered nice wine, cheese and smoked meat. I would do this again.

This is a great opportunity for people who haven't sailed before. Leo is keen on telling you all about his boat and sailing. He was very kind also to give us commentary about the city as we sailed on the Tagus and even let us steer the boat. He was very welcoming and you could clearly feel that he was enjoying himself as much as we were. The sunset was breathtaking and nothing could have beat that view.!!! Highly recommended!

Leonardo was extremely passionate about sailing and it felt like it rubbed off on his guests. The experience was intimate with only a few other guests. We had food and drinks, and Leonardo went into detail about sailing, Lisbon, the Tagus, the Red Bridge, and various other things - he simply wanted to share what he knew. We had never sailed before and I enjoyed his experience so much that I will probably look to sail many times in the future.

This experience was simply amazing. From first setting sail with Leonardo to sailing back everything was precise and fun. He made everyone on board feel super welcome and really gave good insight to the sites we saw and spoke a lot about sailing itself. We both got the opportunity to take over and sail as well which was the coolest experience. I’d 10/10 recommend this if you want a relaxed yet fun experience with good company.

Highly recommend a trip on Leonardo's boat - we will absolutely be taking friends and family when they come to visit Lisbon. The experience being out on the water and viewing the sunset is incredible, made even better by the music, food, wine, and history of the sites you're sailing by.

Excellent experience with Leonardo. First of all he was very thorough with his safety briefing and that made me quite comfortable with the experience. With clear instructions he let us steer the boat and that was a real treat :) Loved seeing the city from a different angle, and Leonardo shared what he knew of the city and sailing. We topped the trip with very good wine, along with cheese and charcuterie, and that was a very nice touch. My husband (who doesn't enjoy boating nearly as much as I do) had a great time so that's a testament to how fun this was.

This trip was awesome. Leo is a sailor with his heart and soul and it was an amazing and beautiful experience that he shared his passion with us :)

Sailing along the Tejo/Targus river with Leonardo and the guests was an absolute pleasure. Leonardo encourages you get involved in the sailing of the boat but is equally happy if you want to just relax and take in the views of Lisbon/Alameda. This is a must-do experience if you are visiting Lisbon.

Don't miss this experience! We had so much fun on Leonardo's sailboat and seeing the city from the water during sunset was unbeatable. It was a unique experience! Leonardo is such a nice guy and when you talk to him, you get the sense that he really loves what he is doing. We all got the opportunity to sail the boat by ourself which was awesome! Leonardo explained us a lot about sailing and the city! It was great to get the insights. When you wanted to be on your own, you had the chance to walk around the boat and find your favorite spot to see the most beautiful sunset. Leonardo also thought of everything. Wine, some snacks, blankets, everything. I can really recommend taking a tour with him! :)

The experience felt very special. I had never been on a sailing boat before but I wasn't afraid that we sink or something because Leo clearly knows his stuff when it comes to sailing - and when it comes to Lisbon. It was nice to hear about the operation of a sailing boat and to try my hand at steering the craft myself. Also the food (and wine) and the information Leo provided regarding sights and history of the city were a really nice touch. I highly recommend Leo's sailing experience to anyone who wants to learn about the city and to anyone who wants to learn about sailing. And to anyone who likes nice food and wine. This was certainly a highlight of our trip to Portugal and a memorable experience. The views of Lisbon and the sight of sunset from the boat are truly beautiful, and the sailing experience itself was special. Leonardo is an accommodating and very knowledgeable guide and sailor, and provided a lot of interesting info about the city and possible activities. Overall, highly recommended.

Loved sailing with Leonardo!! We had so much fun. Anybody wanting to try holding the wheel could happily do so (I did!) and it was fantastic. Nice food, a little bit of local wine and aperizers, and lots of stories from Leonardo’s own experience and from the other travelers I was with! I just loved it.

Leonardo puts on a wonderful river tour of Lisbon. Along the way everyone on board had a chance to steer the boat or assist with the sails. He is very encouraging and if you would rather sit back and relax there’s plenty of space for that. He clearly enjoys hosting his guests and introducing them to his city. Sailing on the river is very calming and this tour is a great way to wind down for the evening.

We had a wonderful time. Leonardo let us do as much as we wanted while out on the water, and gave us a great overview on sailing. He had great tips for things to do in Lisbon and super interesting facts about the landmarks and places we saw. His tour was very good and we felt like we connected personally, not just another boat of passengers. Would defiantly recommend this tour, and if you’re on the fence his snacks were fantastic.

We had a great sunset sail with Leonardo. He was warm, friendly, and an excellent host. He let everyone sail the boat who wanted to, explained the sights in a very useful way, gave us wonderful tips on what to see and do in Lisbon, and the food (wine and treats) he provided was excellent. I can't think of a better way to see the city. Leonardo is to be credited for being such a great host, an expert sailor, and a great communicator. Leo is a great sailor with even better stories. He let us try driving the ship with clear instructions in a teaching way. He even gave us food and drinks, so we had real sailing experience! Apart from sailing, he also told us about special places around the coast and some historic places. In the end we just cruised to the dock and hang out for some time. We felt safe, comfortable and even relaxed during the whole experience, Leo knows how to provide a great sailing experience and we would recommend him to anyone.

Leonardo was a great host. He has an beautiful sailboat and made sure everyone was comfortable since the first half of our ride was a bit choppy. His local insights were very interesting and the wine/cheese/fado made for great atmosphere as we sailed back while the sun set.

Booked this as a gift to my parents and they loved everything about it! Leonardo was very kind and friendly , gave them some tapas and wine , let them tried to drive the boat , everything perfect. Recommend!

Leonardo's tour of Lisbon from his sail boat is excellent. It is so fun and interactive. The wine was a nice touch! Take Leonardo seriously when he says it gets gets "chilly" on the way back!

Leo is a superb sailboat captain, who also sails competitlvely, and provides an amazing experience. My husband was allowed to pilot the sailboat – supervised of course – for a solid 30-45 minutes during our excursion. We highly recommend this experience when in Lisboa!

My husband my 5 yo son and I joined Leonardo on his sail boat to cap off our stay in Lisbon. We had a wonderful time! Leonardo was very accommodating, made an effort to include my husband who has some sailing experience on smaller vessels, was conscious of my son's safety, and the snack plate was delicious! Traveling with small kids means that you can miss out on a lot of tours so we were grateful to be able to participate as a family. Even outside a family context Leonardo was energetic, warm and a good conversationalist and an ideal guide for Lisbon.

This is THE experience I'd recommend doing in Lisbon. It was beautiful being out on the water with a glass of wine as the sun went down and Leonardo could not have been more welcoming, attentive and chill. He gave us some tips for exploring Lisbon, told us a bit about Portugal's history and explained how the sailboat worked and how to hoist the sails. Once we'd cleared the harbor, he left us time/space to simply enjoy. It was a perfect summer evening and the highlight of our trip. Thank you Leonardo!
